GBI Racing is a joint venture between At The Races and Racing UK – launched in March 2010 and is a best of breed TV broadcast and media service delivering high quality, live thoroughbred racing content, data, information and promotions to betting shop operators around the world. GBI Racing provides live, multi-camera coverage from all 60 UK racecourses and all 26 Irish courses, and includes live broadcasts from all the key showcase events in British and Irish racing. With over 1,800 race fixtures a year, daily coverage and full graphics and audio presentation, GBI Racing is available for distribution into retail outlets as a satellite broadcast in tote and fixed odd betting territories throughout the world.

The new operation is tasked with maximising the revenue opportunities for British and Irish racing in important pari-mutuel markets such as Italy, France, South Africa, Turkey and Australia as well as further developing opportunities in newer markets such as Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Discussions relating to the possible expansion of the joint venture’s remit to cover other international distribution and syndication opportunities are ongoing. The joint venture has commissioned SIS to create an international broadcast service which provides coverage of live racing from all 60 British and 26 Irish tracks and to manage distribution of the service to fixed odds markets.
